General Information:

HARIG meets at the Park Pavilion, Barrack Lane, Harwich, Essex, CO12 3NS. UK on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Meetings start formally at 8pm and visitors are always welcome.

The 2022 Programme of Meetings include:

All traditional HARIG meetings and events have been postponed until the Government guidance on the Covid-19 Virus changes, and most people feel comfortable meeting in person again. Having held an online Zoom meeting AGM on 12th January 2022, we will attempt to meet for the first time again at the Park Pavilion on 8th June 2022. Until then we will continue with the joint online Skype meetings with Colchester Radio Amateurs (CRA).

The next (21st) joint HARIG and CRA VIRTUAL meeting via Skype will be on Thursday 20th January - at 7.30pm local time … a talk "Ham Pi" by Dave Slotter W3DJS

To participate in this virtual meeting, please download and make a Skype ID if you don't already have one. Then search within Skype for "G0DVJ M4J" and send an add request (wave). Jonathan will then add you to his contact list as well as the CRA Virtual Meeting group. You will receive a Skype scheduled call invitation in advance of the meeting. Accept that and have Skype open at the time and date of the meeting and you will be joined automatically. You do not need a camera or microphone but can use them if you have.

The 2022 Events Programme will be decided as COVID19 situation eases:

  • May 8th: Field Radio Day and Social at Val's QTH
